NAHT Isle of Man has produced a manifesto for education for General Election 2021 which sets out four key priorities:

  • Meeting the needs of all children
  • Wellbeing
  • Funding
  • Recruitment and retention of education staff

We urge all prospective candidates to place these at the heart of everything they do if elected to the House of Keys.

The manifesto can be read in full here.

Pledge for education

We are also calling on all candidates to sign up to our pledge for education:

‘I pledge to work with the profession, listening to and acting on the views of school leaders as the experts in education in the best interests of all learners. I commit to working with the Isle of Man NAHT on their manifesto for education.’

To sign up for the pledge, please share this image on social media with the hashtag #NAHTIOMPledge.
