What needs to change? As the page turns onto a new year, your narrative may be able to change too. You can edit your current perception of the reality that you are currently going through and offer yourself an alternative storyline. There have certainly been a few ‘cliff-hangers’ in previous chapters, yet can you write future episodes in a more positive way? Resilience, I believe is a pro-active mindset, where you give yourself the best chance to pre-empt situations, allowing you to react to the many and varied challenges that you, as a leader, face in school. This does not mean that the challenges suddenly disappear, more that our perception of those encounters change. Looking after ourselves is key to how we react - this is the best way to edit our future chapters.
